00:00.000 --> 00:03.300
How did everything come into being?

00:03.300 --> 00:04.900
Where do you come from?

00:04.900 --> 00:06.780
Let's find out.

00:06.780 --> 00:08.850
The only one who can answer tough

00:08.850 --> 00:10.900
questions like these is God.

00:10.900 --> 00:13.560
He alone was there in the beginning.

00:13.560 --> 00:16.700
In his word he tells you the whole story.

00:16.700 --> 00:19.800
In the beginning the earth was totally

00:19.800 --> 00:20.520
dark.

00:20.520 --> 00:22.980
What did God do to make it light?

00:22.980 --> 00:25.760
God said that there be light, and there

00:25.760 --> 00:26.740
was light.

00:26.740 --> 00:28.420
He just spoke.

00:28.420 --> 00:31.040
What a power his word has.

00:31.040 --> 00:33.080
How did he make all the plants?

00:33.080 --> 00:35.490
He just said: Let the earth sprout

00:35.490 --> 00:38.410
vegetation, plants, fruit trees, and it

00:38.410 --> 00:40.600
was so.

00:40.600 --> 00:42.710
How did He make the sun, the moon and all

00:42.710 --> 00:44.890
the stars, all the birds and all kinds of

00:44.890 --> 00:47.080
animals?

00:47.080 --> 00:49.960
God made them through his word.

00:49.960 --> 00:52.180
When all this was finished he said: Let

00:52.180 --> 00:54.360
us make man and let them rule over the

00:54.360 --> 00:54.960
fish of

00:54.960 --> 00:57.630
the sea and over the birds of the sky,

00:57.630 --> 01:00.800
over the livestock, over all the earth.

01:00.800 --> 01:02.480
And God did so.

01:02.480 --> 01:06.220
He created man in his own image, male and

01:06.220 --> 01:08.720
female he created them.

01:08.720 --> 01:11.210
You should know the name of the first man

01:11.210 --> 01:12.200
and woman.

01:12.200 --> 01:16.100
Everybody else comes from them, you and

01:16.100 --> 01:18.240
me too. Adam and Eve.

01:18.240 --> 01:20.710
God put them into a beautiful garden to

01:20.710 --> 01:22.400
cultivate and keep it.

01:22.400 --> 01:25.260
The name of the garden was 'Eden' or

01:25.260 --> 01:26.480
'Paradise'.

01:26.480 --> 01:29.960
It was such a good time in Paradise.

01:29.960 --> 01:32.540
Adam and Eve understood each other so

01:32.540 --> 01:35.960
well, everything was peaceful in Paradise.

01:35.960 --> 01:38.690
They also had good fellowship with God,

01:38.690 --> 01:41.640
and God wanted this to continue forever.

01:41.640 --> 01:44.890
Therefore he said: "From any tree in the

01:44.890 --> 01:47.700
garden you may eat freely, but from the

01:47.700 --> 01:48.040
tree of

01:48.040 --> 01:51.220
the knowledge of the good and evil you

01:51.220 --> 01:52.760
shall not eat.

01:52.760 --> 01:56.250
For in the day you shall eat from it you

01:56.250 --> 01:58.240
will surely die."

01:58.240 --> 02:00.250
Now Adam and Eve could show that they

02:00.250 --> 02:02.580
loved God and that they were obedient.
