Apple print on cloth bag

You will need a blank fabric bag, fabric paint, 2 brushes, newspaper and a small apple.

Place the newspaper in the bag with as few folds as possible so that the colour does not print through. Folds prevent an even print.

I chose this verse from the Bible: Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Matthew 6:26
Would you also like to use this Bible verse or would you like to choose another one?

Write the word THANK YOU! and the passage where the verse is found in the Bible in the centre of the bag with a thin brush before you start stamping.

If possible, use an apple that you can no longer eat. Cut it in half. Then coat one half of the apple with colour using a thick brush. Now carefully turn the apple over and place it one after the other on the areas where you want the apple print to be applying a little pressure. Brush some fresh colour onto the apple before each new apple print.

When the colour has dried, ask an adult to iron the bag to seal the colour as described on the fabric colour.
