Shine for others like a lighthouse

Each lighthouse sends out its own unique signal of light and pauses. This helps the captain of a ship recognise which lighthouse he is currently seeing. Most lighthouses can be seen from 10 to 35 kilometres away. Their light penetrates the night and fog and guides people safely to their destination.
