Hands-On Project: Nature's Miracles

"How many are your works, LordIn wisdom you made them all." Psalm 104:24

Winter is over, and the first plants are popping up out of the ground. Maybe you’d like to plant some seeds, too. They can grow and thrive on your windowsill. It’s fun to watch a tiny seed turn into a real plant.

As you watch your plant grow, you can marvel at how creative God is. He has carefully designed exactly what every single plant should look like. Take a look at a flower: just how much beauty there is in a single bloom! From a tiny seed that you plant in the ground and water, a root grows underground. Then the first green shoots appear, and eventually they grow into a bright sunflower, delicious herbs, or even a large apple tree. Pretty impressive, isn’t it?

"He makes grass grow for the cattle, and plants for people to cultivate—bringing forth food from the earth." Psalm 104:14
