11: Off to Bethlehem!
Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. Luke 2:11
The angel told the shepherds not to be afraid and told them about the great event that had taken place nearby: Jesus, the Saviour, had been born. The shepherds left their sheep and ran to Bethlehem to see him.
This didn't exist back then!
