16: When will Jesus return?

The Bible does not tell us when Jesus will return. However, Jesus mentioned a few things that will happen so that we will know that the time is near. Jesus called these things ‘signs’ of his coming. One of these signs is this: ‘And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world...’ (Matthew 24:14). Millions of people all over the world have heard about Jesus Christ since then. Many other signs have also come to pass. Jesus will return soon, that is clear!
