10: Bright light in the night
An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. Luke 2:9
The shepherds were brave men who protected their sheep from wild animals, but they had never seen anything like this before. They were terribly afraid. God had a very special reason for sending the angels and this bright light.

Hello, I'm Miguel and I live in Bolivia. Bolivia is located in South America. It is about three times the size of Germany.
Bolivians love to celebrate, and they do it often. These celebrations are colourful and lively. We love to dance and sing. For example, on 24 January, we celebrate the Festival of Abundance. On 21 June, we celebrate the summer solstice. This is the day when the days start getting longer again in the southern hemisphere. Find out why we celebrate Christmas in our cities.
