He showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance ... clear as crystal. Revelation 21:10+11
The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. Revelation 21:18
Heaven is a beautiful place. The Bible tells us that the walls around it are made of glittering precious stones. Each gate is made of one huge pearl. Imagine a pearl so big that it is used as a city gate!
There is a wide street in heaven. The whole city and the wide street are made of pure gold that shines like crystal glass.
It's a joy to imagine what it will be like in heaven. But it will be much, much more beautiful there than we can ever imagine. We can look forward to heaven!
