08: He Is Alive!
On the third day, some women found the stone was rolled away from the opening of the tomb!
Read: Luke 24:3–6
But when they went in they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel. And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? He is not here but has risen…”
Jesus had told His followers He would die and then come alive again. Now the women at the tomb saw and heard it was true! Jesus is alive today! Some people worship false gods. Only Jesus, God’s Son, came alive from the dead and lives forever! He said, “I died, and behold I am alive forevermore” (Revelation 1:18). Jesus is God. He deserves your worship!
