The Giraffe

God the inventor!

Exceptional tongue

The giraffe’s tongue deserves an entry in the Guinness Book of World Records.
It is blue and may grow to be as long as 50 cm!

Every day a giraffe eats approx. 30 kg of food! That takes her sixteen to twenty hours.

Giraffes prefer to eat leaves from the top portion of the trees, and acacias are their favorite ones.

The giraffe grabs a branch with her tongue, pulls it into her mouth and scrapes off the leaves by moving back her head.

Tongue and lips are made in such a way that despite the thorns on the branches, they do not get injured.
