Life on the street

This is Marlie. Marlie is a lovely German shepherd mix. A male dog. He is perhaps a year old in the photo. He probably lived on the street in Corfu, Greece, until this day.

Marlie's life on the street must have been hopeless. He rarely found enough to eat. When he was found, he was very thin. You could see his ribs under his fur. He was often chased away and beaten or kicked when he tried to find scraps of food in rubbish bins or a sheltered place to sleep at night.
