The King’s Dream
Genesis 41:14-16

¹⁴So Pharaoh sent for Joseph. He was quickly brought out of the prison. Joseph shaved himself and changed his clothes. Then he came to Pharaoh. ¹⁵Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I had a dream. No one can tell me what it means. But I’ve heard that when you hear a dream you can explain it.” 16“I can’t do it,” Joseph replied to Pharaoh. “But God will give Pharaoh the answer he wants.”

Pharaoh's dream meant: seven good years will come. In the seven years after that, there will not be enough to eat. That's why the king needs a helper. He should collect food in the first seven years. In the bad years, the food can be sold.

Have you ever had a really big problem? Maybe even a grown up could not help you. God can help! He is all-wise. He knows the answers to every problem.

Go outside and find a small rock. Put it where you can see it every day. The rock can remind you of your hard problems. Ask God to help you with them.

Dear God, I am so glad you are wise. Thank you for helping me with hard problems. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
