Meaning of a Dream
Genesis 41:39-41

39Then Pharaoh said to Joseph, “God has made all of this known to you. No one is as wise and understanding as you are. 40You will be in charge of my palace. All of my people must obey your orders. I will be greater than you only because I’m the one who sits on the throne.” 41So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “I’m putting you in charge of the whole land of Egypt.”

 

The king gave Joseph a very important task! Joseph was to store food in the good years. In the bad years, he would sell it to the people. That way they wouldn't have to go hungry.

 

Think!

God had a plan for Joseph’s life. He has a good plan for your life too. The Bible says, “I know the plans I have for you” (Jeremiah 29:11). God knows what is best for you. You can trust Him to work out His plan.

Go outside at night and look up at the stars. God planned where to put each one. They can remind you that God knows where you are. He has a plan for you.

Dear God, I know you have a plan for my life. Help me trust you each day. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
