God Makes More Things
Genesis 1:9-10

9God said, “Let the water under the sky be gathered into one place. Let dry ground appear.” And that’s exactly what happened. 10God called the dry ground “land. ” He called the waters that were gathered together “oceans”. And God saw that it was good.

Then God made plants and trees with fruit. Now the third day was over. On the fourth day, God created the sun, moon and stars. They were to shine on the earth.

Pick up something you like to eat. Do you thank God for your food?

God made the world so things could grow. That is one way God takes care of you.

The Bible says, “He gives me everything I need” (Psalm 23:1).

Dear God,

thank you for making the plants so I can have food. You take good care of me! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
