God Makes People
Genesis 1:26-27

26Then God said, “Let us make man in our likeness. Let them rule over the fish in the waters and the birds of the air. Let them rule over the livestock and over the whole earth. Let them rule over all the creatures that move along the ground. ” 27So God created man in his own likeness. He created him in the likeness of God. He created them as male and female.

Finally, God created mankind. He saw that everything he had made was very good. Now God was finished with his work. He rested on the seventh day.

 

Think!

God’s most special creation was people. How many people are in your family? God made each one of them special. God made you special too. 

What is one special thing about you? Thank God for the way He made you.

Dear God, thank you for making people. Help me see what is special in the people around me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
