Jesus had a relative named John who was a great preacher. He was called John the Baptist.

⁷Here is what John was preaching. “After me, one will come who is more powerful than I am. I’m not good enough to bend down and untie his sandals. ⁸I baptize you with water. But he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”

Jesus is greater than anyone else. He is God the Son. His Holy Spirit comes to live in those who believe in Jesus as their Savior.

When you turn to Jesus and believe in Him, He sends His Holy Spirit to live in you. The Holy Spirit helps you say no to sin and live for God. The Bible says, “He will teach you all things” (John 14:26).
