¹⁶One day Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee. There he saw Simon and his brother Andrew. They were throwing a net into the lake. They were fishermen. ¹⁷ “Come.Follow me,” Jesus said. “I will make you fishers of people.”

If you have trusted Jesus as your Savior you can be a fisher of people. Tell them how Jesus died on the cross for their sins and came alive again. Tell them how you trusted in Jesus as your Savior.

Learn all you can from God’s Word. Memorize verses (Psalm 34:1; Matthew 4:4; Ephesians 3:20; Psalm 56:3; Matthew 5:10; Mark 16:15; Matthew 5:16; John 13:34). Then you will be ready to be a fisher of people, telling them about Jesus!

Dear God, I want to be a fisher of people. Use me to help other people know You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
