¹Jesus saw the crowds. So he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him. ²Then he began to teach them. He said,³“Blessed are those who are spiritually needy. The kingdom of heaven belongs to them.”

Jesus had Good News for the crowds of people! They could be blessed—happy on the inside. They could be part of His Kingdom!

Think!

People who live in a kingdom know the king is in charge. They obey him because he is the highest ruler in the land! Jesus is the King of all kings! If you have trusted in Jesus to forgive your sin, you are a child of the King. That should make you happy on the inside! Are you obeying your King? Are you letting Him be in charge of everything in your life?
