¹³“You are the salt of the earth. But suppose the salt loses its saltiness. How can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything. It will be thrown out. People will walk all over it.”

Jesus said His followers are like salt. What do you know about salt?

God wants His followers to be like salt. How can you do that? You can be helpful to others. You can be kind and good to others. People will see that you love God. It might make them want to know Him too!

The Bible says, “Preach the good news to everyone” (Mark 16:15). Tell others what Jesus has done for you. Show them how good it is to know Him!

Dear God, help me be like salt. Help me to tell my friends about You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
