Shepherds were in a field with their sheep.

⁹An angel of the Lord appeared to them. And the glory of the Lord shone around them. They were terrified. ¹⁰But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy. It is for all the people. ¹¹Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you. He is Christ the Lord.”

Everyone likes to hear good news! One day, a group of shepherds heard the best news of all! The angel said the Good News was for all people. God sent His Son to take away their sins!
