When Jesus was a boy, He went with His parents to Jerusalem. On the way home, His parents could not find Him.

⁴⁵They did not find him, so they went back to Jerusalem to look for him. ⁴⁶After three days they found him in the temple courtyard. He was sitting with the teachers. He was listening to them and asking them questions. Everyone who heard him was amazed at how much he understood. They also were amazed at his answers.

Jesus was at the Temple. A temple is a place to worship.

Jesus is God the Son. He knows all things. Jesus said, “I and the Father are one,” (John 10:30) and the Father knows everything. Jesus knows more than the smartest person!

Jesus made you and He knows you. You can trust that He knows what is best for you. Obey what He tells you to do in His true Word, the Bible.
