Seeing Jesus
Luke 19:2-4

Jesus was visiting the city of Jericho.

² And behold, there was a man named Zacchaeus. He was a chief tax collector and was rich. ³ And he was seeking to see who Jesus was, but on account of the crowd he could not, because he was small in stature [short]. ⁴ So he ran on ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him, for he was about to pass that way.

Zacchaeus had heard about Jesus and wanted to know more about Him. So he found a way to see Him.

You don’t have to climb a tree to get to know God better! You can spend time with Him every day. As you read His Word, you will learn what He is like and how you can be more like Him. The more you know God, the easier it is to trust Him when problems come. To help you remember, get a calendar and put a check mark on each day you spend time with God.

Dear God, I really want to get to know you more. Help me remember to spend time with you each day. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
