Obey Him
Mark 11:4-6

Jesus asked the disciples to bring a colt to Him.

⁴ And they went away and found a colt tied at a door outside in the street, and they untied it. ⁵ And some of those standing there said to them, “What are you doing, untying the colt?” ⁶ And they told them what Jesus had said, and they let them go.

The disciples did what Jesus told them. They knew they should obey Him.

Think!

It is not always easy to obey. But Jesus said, “If you love me, you will keep my commandments” (John 14:15). God’s love for you never changes. But you show your love for Him when you obey Him. When is it hard for you to obey God? Pray about it every day this week and ask God to help you want to obey because you love Him. Then do it!

Dear God, I love you. Help me to show my love by obeying you this week. In Jesus’ name. Amen
