Praise Him!
Mark 11:7-9

⁷ And they brought the colt to Jesus and threw their cloaks on it, and he sat on it. ⁸ And many spread their cloaks on the road, and others spread leafy branches that they had cut from the fields. ⁹ And those who went before and those who followed were shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”

The people praised Jesus, God the Son. They thought God had sent Him to be their king. They wanted Him to rule on Earth. They did not understand God’s plan.

Think!

One of the ways people worship God is by praising Him. To praise God means telling Him how wonderful He is. The Bible says we should praise God continually — that means over and over! Here are three ways you can praise God today:

▸Make a list of ways He is special then tell Him;

▸sing a song of praise to Him;

▸find something He created and praise Him for it.

You can pray like this:

Dear God, you are such a wonderful God. Help me take time to praise you every day. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
