All for God
Mark 12:43-44

⁴³ And he called his disciples to him and said to them, “Truly, I say to you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the offering box. ⁴⁴ For they all contributed out of their abundance, but she out of her poverty has put in everything she had, all she had to live on.”

The rich people gave some of what they had and kept the rest for themselves. The widow gave God everything she had. She was thankful to God and trusted Him to take care of her needs.

Think!

How much a person gives to God is not the important thing. God looks at the heart. He wants His children to give because they love and trust Him. Why do you give your money, your time, or talents to God? Is it to show off in front of others? Or is it because you love God and are thankful for all He’s done for you?

Dear God, thank you for giving me so much! Help me give my all for you. In Jesus name. Amen.
