Jesus Welcomes Children
Mark 10:13-14

Jesus Welcomes Children

13 And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. 14 But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant [angry] and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.

The disciples did not think children were important. They tried to keep them away from Jesus. It made Jesus angry! He wants children to come to Him because He loves them very much.

Think!

Jesus is never too busy for you. He always has time. He never says, “Go away!” He does not get tired of you or your questions. Jesus wants you to spend time with Him every day. How can you do that? You can talk to Him often. This is called praying. Read your Bible. Go to church to learn more about Him. Jesus loves spending time with you!

You can pray like this:

Dear God, thank you for letting me come to you. Please help me spend time with you every day. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
