Do What You Can
Mark 15:8-9

The people were angry with the woman. Jesus explained the woman’s actions.

⁸ She has done what she could; she has anointed my body beforehand for burial. ⁹ And truly, I say to you, wherever the gospel is proclaimed in the whole world, what she has done will be told in memory of her.”

Only a few days after His visit to Simon’s house, Jesus was arrested, beaten, and put to death on the cross. Jesus died on the cross to take the punishment for our sin. The people did not understand this. Jesus promised that what the woman did for Him would be told for years to come.

Think!

Jesus took the punishment for your sin. He was buried, but then He came alive again. If you have believed in Jesus as your Savior, thank Him for what He did for you. If you have never believed in Him, you can today.
