Two Questions
Mark 10:17-18

¹⁷ And as he was setting out on his journey, a man ran up and knelt before him and asked him, “Good Teacher, what must I do to inherit [receive] eternal life?” ¹⁸ And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call me good? No one is good except God alone.

This man wanted to know how he could live forever with God. Jesus asked him a question because Jesus wanted him to know that God is good. Jesus is good (perfect) because He is God the Son.

Think!

Many people want to have eternal life, but they do not know how to get it. How do you know you have eternal life? You do if you have believed in Jesus to save you from sin. You could help someone else know how to have eternal life too. Tell that person about Jesus. Tell him or her that you believed in Jesus to save you. Help your friends know how to have eternal life!

Dear God, thank you for giving me eternal life. Help me tell others how they can have eternal life too. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
