Buried
Mark 15:46-47

A man named Joseph got permission from Pilate to bury Jesus’ body.

⁴⁶ And Joseph bought a linen shroud, and taking him down, wrapped him in the linen shroud and laid him in a tomb that had been cut out of the rock. And he rolled a stone against the entrance of the tomb. ⁴⁷ Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses saw where he was laid.

Jesus truly had died. Joseph was a follower of Jesus. He carefully prepared Jesus’ body and put it in a special grave.

Think!

Some people say Jesus did not really die on the cross. They say He was just in a deep sleep. This is not true! Jesus really did die. Joseph saw this with his own eyes! He prepared Jesus’ body to be buried. Jesus died so you could be saved from your sin. Aren’t you glad Jesus really died for you and came alive again so you could be forgiven?

Write a note to God, thanking Him that Jesus died for you.
