God had a special job for Ananias to do. He told Ananias to go to Saul.
17 So Ananias departed and entered the house. And laying his hands on him he said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus who appeared to you on the road by which you came has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.” 18 And immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and he regained his sight. Then he rose and was baptized;
God used Ananias to heal Saul’s eyes. Then Saul was baptized to show he was now a believer in Jesus.
Think!
Ananias did the job God sent him to do. Now Saul could see again and God had a special job for Saul. When God gives you a job to do, He also gives you the power to do it. God has special things planned for you to do every day (Ephesians 2:10). Trust Him to show you what those things are and help you do them.
You can pray like this:
Dear God, help me trust You when You give me a job to do. Thank you for being with me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
