Peter’s Visitor
Acts 12:6-8

Peter was still in prison. The believers were praying.

6 Now when Herod was about to bring him out, on that very night, Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains, and sentries before the door were guarding the prison. 7 And behold, an angel of the Lord stood next to him, and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side and woke him, saying, “Get up quickly.” And the chains fell off his hands. 8 And the angel said to him, “Dress yourself and put on your sandals.” And he did so. And he said to him, “Wrap your cloak around you and follow me.

Think!

The believers prayed for Peter. They did not know how God would answer their prayers. Did God answer? Yes!

God will answer your prayers too. The answer might not be what you expect. Sometimes God will say yes. Other times He has a different plan and says no. Sometimes you need to wait for God’s answer. God will always answer your prayers in the way He knows is best.

You can pray like this:

Dear God, thank you for answering prayer. I am glad You always know the best answer for me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
