Acts 12:11-12

The angel brought Peter out of the prison and disappeared. Now where would Peter go?

¹¹ When Peter came to himself, he said, “Now I am sure that the Lord has sent his angel and rescued me from the hand of Herod and from all that the Jewish people were expecting.” ¹² When he realized this, he went to the house of Mary, the mother of John whose other name was Mark, where many were gathered together and were praying.

The Jewish people thought Peter would be killed, but God sent an angel to rescue Him. Peter went to Mary’s house, where the believers were praying.

Think!

King Herod planned to kill Peter. That was not God’s plan. Not even the king or a prison could stop God! He had many more things for Peter to do. God has things He wants you to do too. People might try to stop God’s plan for your life. They can’t do it. God is stronger (1 John 4:4)! You can count on God to help you do everything He wants you to do.
