Knowing God
Acts 2:42-43
The apostles were some of Jesus’ first followers. They were teaching others about Jesus. People listened to them.
42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43 And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles.
The first believers met together often so they could listen to the teaching about God. They also prayed and encouraged each other.

It’s good to get together with other people who believe in Jesus. You can do that at church, at a Bible club, or even in someone’s house. It’s a great way to get to know God better and help others who are getting to know God too. You can study the Bible together, pray for each other, enjoy a meal together, and help each other become more like Jesus!

Dear God, thank you that I can get together with other people who know and love You too. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
