Praising God
Acts 3:8-10

Peter did not have money for the lame man. He told the man to stand up and walk.

⁸ And leaping up, he stood and began to walk, and entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God. ⁹ And all the people saw him walking and praising God, ¹⁰ and recognized him as the one who sat at the Beautiful Gate of the temple, asking for alms. And they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

The people knew the man had always been lame. Now he could walk!

Think!

Do you ever take time to praise God? Praising Him means to thank Him. You can praise God for how great He is. Praise Him that He has forgiven your sins. Praise Him for all the ways He takes care of you each day. Praise Him that you can one day live in Heaven with Him! When you praise God, other people will notice. They will see how great God is too.

Write down three things you can praise God for today.

Dear God, thank you for all the things You do for me! Remind me to praise You every day. In Jesus’ name. Amen
