The 'Southern Cross'

12 An image of God's rescue plan in the sky

The 'Southern Cross' is a small, very remarkable and well known constellation. It can be seen from the southern hemisphere of the Earth. The four brightest stars form a cross in the sky.
South under the left cross line a conspicuous dark cloud can be seen.
Above it a small cluster of stars of exceptional beauty. Nowhere else in the sky is there such a remarkable collection of red, purple, blue and yellow shades.

A great picture of God's plan of salvation in the sky! Jesus died on the cross to take away our burden of sin and give us the extraordinarily precious gift of eternal life.

Jesus Himself put this striking image in the night sky when He created the stars!
